Long pepper-Thippili plant is perennial aromatic slender climber plant with large woody roots. Heart shaped leaves abroad rounded lobes at the base measures about 5-9 cm long and 3-5 cm wide. Vines starts emerging from 6 months after planting. Black or green fruits are firm and it takes 2 months to mature. Long pepper is used to cure gastro intestinal problems, ingestion, stomach ache, bacterial infections, and tooth ache. Most beneficial for diabetics, helpful in weight loss, useful in fever treatments. Addition to this it improves the skeletal health and oxygenates the body.
